Challenges

In the aftermath of a relentless hailstorm that swept through north Austin, the CAMP team was ready to begin.

Challenge 1

A massive hailstorm came through north Austin, which spared no one. The sheer scale of the damage across 113 single-family rental homes and additional structures posed a formidable challenge.

Challenge 2

Coordinating the replacement of roofs, garage doors, windows, gutters, downspouts, fencing, and siding for each unit required meticulous planning and execution.

Challenge 3

Completing the restoration in a timely manner was crucial to minimize disruptions for the residents and ensure the property’s return to normalcy.

Solutions

The Austin CAMP team went to work to complete roof repairs, replacements, and maintenance to the damaged property, all with timely completion and client satisfaction in mind.

Solution 1

A comprehensive project management plan was devised to address the scale of damage and volume of work.

Solution 2

The scope of work involved breaking down the tasks into manageable units, prioritizing critical roof repairs and ensuring a streamlined workflow. Recognizing the importance of timely completion, a detailed schedule was established, factoring in the various components of the restoration process.

Solution 3

We received a certification from shingle manufacturer GAF to offer our clients a top-tier warranty. We gave them a Silver Pledge Warranty, which will further protect them for many years to come, leaving them better protected when we are finished.

Successes

With a meticulous plan, the CAMP team completed 37 single-family rental homes well within the projected timeframe. The renowned durability of GAF-Timberline HDZ Shingles and the added protection of StainGuard Plus Algae Protection ensured longevity and resilience. Surpassing expectations, the roofing, initially slated for 2 ½ months, is progressing ahead of schedule, a testament to our team’s dedication and expertise. Client satisfaction, evident in positive feedback, highlights our success in delivering restored homes and an enhanced and resilient living environment.
